If this continues, the space for the far-right will expand.
Support for the Lee Jae-myung administration and the ruling Democratic Party remains low. As a result, politics itself is in disarray. The momentum for key national tasks is not alive and well. The direction is also shrouded in mist. While there is room for debate, above all, the results of eradicating internal rebellion and leading reforms are lower than expected.
If this continues, there is a growing possibility that the space for the far-right will expand due to public aversion and neglect of politics itself. It's precarious. The forces of internal rebellion are now running wild, thinking their time has come. This situation is not a problem for any one political faction, but a problem for all of us.
President Lee Jae-myung, be strong.
As a result, President Lee Jae-myung's efforts, unfortunately, are also fading. Important policies are not receiving fair evaluation. It must be very unfair for them to be dismissed wholesale. It could even lead to deep frustration and anger. Meanwhile, I sincerely wish that personnel matters were handled with more meticulousness. In any case, the President's psychological frustration will undoubtedly have a negative impact on all citizens.
I wonder if the President's state of mind has become even more uncomfortable since the last press conference. Even though he has lowered his stance, the attacks from within have not ceased, and his supporters are not rallying to defend him against external attacks, so it must be very difficult. Nevertheless, I hope he can somehow find strength. I mean it sincerely.
The Lee Jae-myung administration is facing high-intensity pressure from the United States on all sides. Just enduring this is difficult. Even if there are other points of criticism, this one absolutely requires the public's full support.
Responsibility of the Democratic Party leadership
The new leadership of the Democratic Party sought to increase the stability of state affairs by strengthening the cooperation system between the party, government, and presidential office, but the results are still unclear, and pessimistic forecasts are not disappearing. This is because the leadership is unable to demonstrate the power to encompass the whole, beyond the inherent discomfort of its original composition.
If this happens, the Democratic Party leader and leadership could be labeled as incompetent. Eventually, it could even become a burden on the President. Reality is deviating from expectations and hopes. It's becoming a situation that could cause anxiety.
No matter what anyone says, the leader bears the heaviest responsibility. As the leader is my actual younger brother, I, too, have considerable concerns. However, private matters are private, and public matters are public. It will be difficult, but we must do better and more fiercely. The promised 100 days are also approaching.
If you take responsibility, you must bear the weight of that responsibility. It cannot be passed on to anyone else.
The breakthrough is to trust the sovereign people and move forward.
The core of the breakthrough lies in “trust in the sovereign people.” All that needs to be done is to implement what the sovereign people most strongly demand. The first task is “Cho Hee-dae's impeachment.” We must be able to rally all forces for this. The conditions and preparations for a party decision are already complete. We must not miss this opportunity any longer. It is a choice that can thwart the machinations of the insurrectionary forces and separatist plots at once.
Under these conditions, political calculations are meaningless. The ethical and historical judgment of the sovereign people is a hundred times correct. Isn't he the ringleader of judicial insurrection and a shameless thief of public funds? Demanding his resignation is also meaningless. If he were that kind of person, he wouldn't have done such a thing in the first place. If Cho Hee-dae is impeached, the sovereign people will then decide the outcome through further struggle. If you trust the sovereign people, you live; if not, you die. So, there is no reason to hesitate at all.
The Democratic Party leadership should meet with these candlelight citizens. Listen to them. Be enlightened.
Shouldn't the National Power Party, the party of insurrection, also be disbanded? It is a den teeming with immoral criminals.
The foundation of people's livelihoods is also established by suppressing the insurrectionary forces that ruined people's livelihoods. Tearing down the fortress of the privilege cartel can only be achieved by breaking the power of the insurrectionary forces. Isn't Cho Hee-dae's manipulation for the sake of this fortress of privilege? This person must be decisively removed. He is the head of the ringleader to be put on a pole. If we don't do it now, we will be counterattacked.
- Reformist unity, embrace as much as possible. Those to be suppressed are the insurrectionary forces.
- Become one with the sovereign people.
Along with this, we should focus on reformist integration with a more humble attitude. If politics doesn't involve putting aside petty squabbles and broadly uniting to gather as much reform momentum as possible, everyone, without exception, will go bankrupt. We must carefully discern between self-inflicted internal strife and division caused by manipulation, and unite our strength. When it's difficult to distinguish, we should attribute it to our own shortcomings. And those to be suppressed are the forces of rebellion.
The sovereign people are now growing weary. It's dangerous. Nevertheless, the candlelight citizens gathering in the streets are not backing down and are at the forefront of the struggle to eradicate rebellion. This is true hope. Politics that embraces this will succeed. Those who commit themselves to what is right, without calculating this way and that, are the essence of righteous politics.
The breakthrough can be found in this boundless trust in the sovereign people. The streets are still fervent.
