The initial primary election structure for the People Power Party's presidential candidate is becoming mired in the 'Han Deok-soo's long-cherished desire' theory. This presidential election is not a normal election. And the People Power Party, which picked up the 'tyrant' Yoon Seok-yeol in the middle of this abnormal election and ruined the country in two and a half years, also has a serious responsibility. If they have even the slightest conscience for triggering the early presidential election, they should apologize and reflect on the people.

However, after being impeached, Yoon Seok-yeol enjoyed a 'last party' for about a week with taxpayers' money, and then, far from apologizing or accepting the decision, he began a comfortable life strolling around Acrovista. In the process, he is mocking the people and ridiculing the Constitutional Court's decision, saying things like, "I won everything and came back" and "Whether it's 5 years or 3 years." The absurd mental victory of a former president who was impeached is a test of endurance that we must endure.

In this situation, the 'Han Duck-soo presidential candidacy theory' that is currently unfolding inside and outside the People Power Party makes me question how far human shamelessness and stupidity can go. The People Power Party allowed former Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-yeol, who declared his participation in politics in June 2021, to automatically pass through the door to become a presidential candidate without any strict verification or critical awareness.

The only thing the People Power Party relied on was the wind. The People Power Party, tired of 'election campaigners' such as Hong Jun-pyo, who invariably hang around whenever a presidential election takes place, chose Yoon Seok-yeol without even knowing who he was.

This Han Duck-soo "daemangron" (theory of great expectation) is also flowing in a similar direction to Yoon Seok-yeol's rise. The People's Power's long-standing "power withdrawal symptoms," which push someone up as a presidential candidate without considering the consequences if there is even a slight possibility, are slowly crawling up to the election board again this time.

In fact, in a presidential election, the "wind" is a major factor that influences the election along with people and structure. It is inevitable that such a wind will blow fiercely. However, the People's Power must make a cold-headed judgment this time whether that wind will be the "wind power" that will become the development energy of Korea, or the devil's wind that spreads wildfires.

It is undeniable that a political party will choose its candidates. However, the idea of bringing back a figure who was a puppet and henchman of that regime as a presidential candidate in the next election, before the ink of the emergency martial law and impeachment decision that destroyed the constitutional order has even dried, is the greedy daily life of traitors who do not care about national prestige or national interest other than "winning."

For now, the Han Duck-soo wind cannot be immediately subdued. The wildfire of nuisance is about to spread to the 'next mountain'. The People Power Party's brazen attempt to urgently pick up Han Duck-soo, who is a 'repeat offender' of treason, is probably because they think it's a losing election anyway, so they might as well make a severe gambling bet.

In particular, the only 'weapon' that the People Power Party is hoping for in this presidential election is the 'Lee Jae-myung aversion sentiment.' The People Power Party believes that no matter who becomes the presidential candidate, the conservative voters are not interested in the person, and only the aversion sentiment that 'Lee Jae-myung is not allowed' dominates. Only Lee Jae-myung's aversion is the ultimate constant, and the People Power Party's presidential candidate is not even considered a variable.

In this regard, the People Power Party has no interest in what role Han Duck-soo can play in state affairs, or his capabilities and vision. Who is Han Duck-soo? He passed the 8th Public Administration Examination in 1970 and started his public service as a customs officer. He is a person who has shown the 'secret of success' by easily crossing over conservative and progressive regimes for over 40 years.

There is a story that Han Duck-soo did not 'specifically' mention that he was from Jeonju, North Jeolla Province, until the Kim Dae-jung administration was launched, but as soon as the Honam regime was launched, he emphasized that he was from Jeonju wherever he went, which made people around him wonder. But this kind of episode can be regarded as a civil servant's wise way of survival.

However, the fact that he has held all key national positions except the president, going back and forth between conservatives and progressives, is another matter. Until now, he has only performed the tasks assigned by the president or his superiors 'without soul'. Because he did it without major mistakes, he rose to the position of Prime Minister in the Yoon Seok-yeol administration after going through Kim Dae-jung, Roh Moo-hyun, and Lee Myung-bak.

If he had the conviction or the style of speaking right and bitter words as a bureaucrat, he would not have been able to grab the title of 'hobby is official position'. It's just because he did what he was told. But if he becomes president, whose instructions will he receive? Will he, who has lived his whole life watching the power, have the leadership to command the country with conviction?

Can Han Duck-soo, who is good at English and pro-American, face off against President Trump for the national interest and values of Korea? This is a more ominous path than Yoon Seok-yeol. He may end up doing nothing for 5 years in a 'regime where nothing happens if you do nothing'.

Han Duck-soo's early primary campaign hopes are solely based on the People's Power's 'brainless strategy' of seeing the reflected benefits of 'Lee Jae-myung hatred'. Even if he becomes a presidential candidate, he will not be able to overcome 'Yoon Seok-yeol's limitations' with strategies or visions to properly rebuild the national power and economy that have been ruined for two and a half years.

Lastly, Han Duck-soo's wish is an temporary card that Yoon Seok-yeol and Kim Kun-hee push up for a moment 'just in case'. It is appropriate as a card to float Han Duck-soo to regroup the scattered party sentiment or to test public opinion, to see if the couple Yoon Seok-yeol and Kim Kun-hee can exert influence in this presidential primary.

Han Duck-soo can be discarded at any time.
